Become a sponsor My sponsors are: Anita and Frank Schol Dog Eila is looking for a home Eila is a beautiful, almost snow-white female dog who has spent nearly her entire life behind shelter bars. For nine long years, she lived in Smeura, Romania’s largest animal shelter. Soon Eila will be 15 years old, and we sincerely hope that she won’t have to celebrate her next birthday in the shelter anymore. Eila is a gentle, good-natured soul. At the same time, you can sense that life has held many disappointments in store for her. She initially approaches strangers with restraint and fear. She never forces herself on anyone and expects nothing in return. Meanwhile, Eila has adjusted well to our shelter routine. She loves to lie right in the middle of the meadow, calmly observing everything going on around her. When you sit down near her, she often just stays lying there, cautiously allowing the closeness. It’s as if she’s never learned that petting can be something wonderful. But slowly, she’s starting to enjoy these gentle touches. And there’s something else Eila has discovered in the meantime—dog treats. When she notices someone has some with them, she looks up at them with her big, round eyes, full of hope. These little moments show that she’s beginning to trust people and to enjoy their attention. Eila doesn’t need an exciting life. She doesn’t need sports or adventures. What she really wants is a quiet everyday life, loving people, and a place where she can finally just be herself. Eila gets along perfectly with other dogs and feels very comfortable in their company. A friendly canine companion could certainly make it easier for her to start a new life. Since Eila knows little about the world outside the shelter, you shouldn’t expect too much from her at first. She already walks nicely on a leash, but she needs people with patience, empathy, and understanding who will let her settle in at her own pace, step by step. We’re looking for a calm home for Eila, ideally with a securely fenced garden. A place without hustle and bustle, with loving people who can show this elderly dog that even after many years of waiting, a happy ending is still possible. Eila Rasse: Mischling Geboren: ca. 08.11.2011 Im Tierheim seit: 21.05.2026 Eila ist seit 111 Tagen bei uns im Tierheim. Pate werden Meine Paten sind: Anita und Frank Schol Hund Eila sucht ein Zuhause ~hat Interessenten~ Eila ist eine wunderschöne, fast schneeweiße Hundedame, die fast ihr gesamtes Leben hinter Tierheimgittern verbracht hat. Neun lange Jahre lebte sie in der Smeura, dem größten Tierheim Rumäniens. Bald wird Eila 15 Jahre alt und wir wünschen uns von Herzen, dass sie ihren nächsten Geburtstag nicht mehr im Tierheim feiern muss. Eila ist eine sanfte, gutmütige Seele. Gleichzeitig spürt man, dass das Leben viele Enttäuschungen für sie bereithielt. Fremden Menschen begegnet sie zunächst zurückhaltend und ängstlich. Sie drängt sich niemals auf und erwartet nichts. Inzwischen hat sich Eila gut an unseren Tierheimalltag gewöhnt. Am liebsten liegt sie mitten auf der Wiese und beobachtet in aller Ruhe das Geschehen. Wenn man sich zu ihr setzt, bleibt sie oft einfach liegen und lässt die Nähe vorsichtig zu. Es ist, als hätte sie nie gelernt, dass Streicheleinheiten etwas Schönes sein können. Doch langsam beginnt sie, diese sanften Berührungen zu genießen. Und noch etwas hat Eila inzwischen entdeckt – Hundeleckerlis. Wenn sie merkt, dass jemand welche dabeihat, schaut sie mit ihren großen Kulleraugen hoffnungsvoll entgegen. Diese kleinen Momente zeigen, dass sie beginnt, den Menschen zu vertrauen und sich über ihre Aufmerksamkeit zu freuen. Eila braucht kein aufregendes Leben. Sie braucht keinen Sport und keine Abenteuer. Was sie sich wünscht, ist ein ruhiger Alltag, liebevolle Menschen und einen Ort, an dem sie endlich einfach nur sein darf. Mit anderen Hunden ist Eila absolut verträglich und fühlt sich in ihrer Gesellschaft sehr wohl. Ein freundlicher Hundekumpel dürfte ihr den Start in ein neues Leben sicher erleichtern. Da Eila die Welt außerhalb des Tierheims kaum kennt, sollte man anfangs nicht zu viel von ihr erwarten. Sie läuft bereits an der Leine, braucht aber Menschen mit Geduld, Einfühlungsvermögen und Verständnis, die sie Schritt für Schritt in ihrem Tempo ankommen lassen. Für Eila suchen wir ein ruhiges Zuhause, idealerweise mit einem sicher eingezäunten Garten. Ein Platz ohne Hektik, bei liebevollen Menschen, die dieser alten Hundedame zeigen, dass auch nach vielen Jahren des Wartens noch ein Happy End möglich ist. Richtig schön wäre es, wenn sie gemeinsam mit ihrem langjährigen Wegbegleiter Hundeopi Persy einziehen dürfte. Hund Exa sucht ein Zuhause Exa ist lieb, aber schüchtern. Nach 8 Jahren Tierheim sucht sie ein ruhiges Zuhause mit Geduld, Herz und gern einem souveränem Zweithund. Sie ist keine Sportskanone.
