The mixed breed Ian is one of the concern cases at our animal shelter. The sensitive male dog came into our care in 2021, with great fear of people and trapped in his fear. It is likely that Ian had to grow up isolated from environmental stimuli during the socialization phase, resulting in a lack of crucial foundations for a normal dog life. In small steps and with much patience, one of our staff members has managed to gradually gain access to the distressed dog and slowly build trust over the past few months. However, Ian would still go forward if he feels pressured and has no escape option. Therefore, Ian has very limited chances of finding an appropriate home and will likely remain our shelter dog. At our animal shelter, Ian has found a safe haven where he can live according to his own rhythm. Patrons are welcome to support Ian through a sponsorship. Der Mischling Ian gehört zu den Sorgenkindern unseres Tierheims. Der sensible Rüde kam 2021 in unsere Obhut, mit großer Scheu gegenüber Menschen und gefangen in seiner Angst. Vermutlich musste Ian in der Sozialisationsphase isoliert von Umweltreizen aufwachsen, so dass ihm entscheidende Grundlagen für ein normales Hundeleben fehlen. In kleinen Schritten und mit viel Geduld ist es einer unserer Mitarbeiterinnen in den letzten Monaten zwar gelungen, allmählich Zugang zu dem verstörten Hund zu finden und ganz langsam Vertrauen aufzubauen. Nach wie vor würde Ian aber nach vorne gehen, wenn er sich bedrängt fühlt und keine Fluchtmöglichkeit findet. Ian hat daher nur sehr geringe Chancen, ein geeignetes Zuhause zu finden, und wird vermutlich unser Schützling bleiben. Bei uns im Tierheim hat er einen sicheren Schutzort gefunden, an dem er nach seinem Rhythmus leben kann. Gern kann man Ian mit einer Patenschaft unterstützen. Tierheimkonto: Tierschutz der Tat e.V.
