Idefix came to us as a "difficult case." At first he really didn't want anything to do with us. For a while, being leashed or having a muzzle put on was just a wishful dream. Now, after many training sessions and rewards, he even takes treats from the hand very gently and without snapping. Despite all these successes, we advise and urge caution. Idefix is not suitable for children or for people inexperienced with dogs. Despite his age, the full hunting drive and character of a terrier still slumber within him. Idefix needs a assertive, guiding hand to accompany him through his future. We would not recommend second dogs or other animals. Idefix kam als ein „schwieriger Fall“ zu uns. Am Anfang wollte er noch nicht wirklich etwas mit uns zu tun haben. Anleinen oder Maulkorb aufsetzen war eine Zeit lang nur ein Wunschtraum. Jetzt, nach vielen Trainingseinheiten und Belohnungen nimmt er sogar die Leckerchen ganz zärtlich und ohne zu schnappen aus der Hand. Trotz all dieser Erfolge raten und mahnen wir zur Vorsicht. Idefix ist nichts für Kinder oder hundeunerfahrene Leute. In Ihm schlummert, trotz seines Alters, immer noch der volle Jagdtrieb und Charakter eines Terriers. Idefix braucht eine durchsetzungsfähige und führende Hand die Ihn durch seine Zukunft begleitet. Zweithunde oder andere Tiere würden wir nicht empfehlen. Auch wenn Idefix noch ein paar Ecken und Kanten hat macht Ihn das nicht weniger zu einem liebenswerten und aktiven Begleiter, der sich ein schönes und liebevolles zu Hause wünscht.
