Ika – Seeking a Comprehending Home Our Polish animal protection friends describe Ika as a female dog who was initially very fearful and needed a lot of time and patience. When she arrived at the animal shelter, she was very afraid of touch and human proximity. However, with a lot of empathy and calm affection, our animal protection friends on site managed to win her trust. Today, Ika shows herself to be a happy, open female dog who enjoys every opportunity for walks. She goes well on a leash, observes her surroundings attentively, and likes to explore new paths. She gets along well with other dogs but occasionally shows a certain leadership strength within her pack. She is friendly towards children but can still react uncertainly in unfamiliar situations or when there are sudden movements. Therefore, she needs people who can continue to provide her with security and show her with patience and love that she no longer needs to be afraid. For Ika, we are looking for a quiet home with understanding people who can convey security and safety. She has already made great progress and will surely become a wonderful companion with patience and love. Adopting a dog from animal protection always also means taking on a special responsibility. Ika – Auf der Suche nach einem verständnisvollen Zuhause Unsere polnischen Tierschutzfreunde beschreiben Ika als eine Hündin, die anfangs sehr ängstlich war und viel Zeit sowie Geduld brauchte. Als sie ins Tierheim kam, hatte sie große Angst vor Berührungen und menschlicher Nähe. Doch mit viel Einfühlungsvermögen und ruhiger Zuwendung gelang es unseren Tierschutzfreunden vor Ort, ihr Vertrauen zu gewinnen. Heute zeigt sich Ika als fröhliche, offene Hündin, die jede Gelegenheit zum Spazierengehen genießt. Sie geht gut an der Leine, beobachtet aufmerksam ihre Umgebung und erkundet gerne neue Wege. Mit anderen Hunden versteht sie sich gut, zeigt aber gelegentlich eine gewisse Führungsstärke in ihrem Rudel. Kindern gegenüber ist sie freundlich, kann aber in ungewohnten Situationen oder bei plötzlichen Bewegungen noch unsicher reagieren.
