adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Inima has found its own home! Her story: Inima is a beautiful young female dog with a particularly striking, light spotted coat pattern. She captivates not only through her appearance but also with her very sensitive nature; she is a little sunbeam. In early June, Inima had some luck and was allowed to move in with a loving foster family. At first, she was a bit shy, especially when approached directly, but now she has thawed out quite a bit. Behind her reserved demeanor lies a big heart that yearns for closeness. Once she has built trust, she shows herself to be clingy, cuddly, and affectionate, enjoying all sorts of snuggle time. She loves people and is particularly fond of being stroked and pampered. Inima is a friendly, playful, and socially compatible female dog that gets along very well with the other dogs in the household. Although Inima is generally very open, she can sometimes react fearfully in new or unfamiliar situations, which is absolutely understandable since she has only been in Germany for a short time. Due to her good appetite, she is easily appeased with treats and quickly calms down. This makes it easier to help her in unfamiliar situations and to win her trust. In small steps, the young female dog is now learning to walk on a leash. She is very attuned to her people, who show her with patience and loving consistency what a structured dog life looks like. Originally from Romania, Baia Mare, Inima was simply dropped off at the public shelter because no one wanted her anymore. Fortunately, she was not there for long. The little Inima is now searching for loving people who will love her and allow her to further develop her wonderful qualities. She is available for adoption at any time. Inima is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and has an EU pet passport. Have you fallen in love with the little sunbeam? Inima is looking forward to meeting you. Our thanks go to the namers Beke and Jess, who chose the name for the charming Inima and thus gave her a unique identity. As of: 14.06. This animal was surrendered to the shelter.

Stand: 14.06.2025

About Inima

What life with Inima looks like

Inima is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Inima, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Inima?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Inima on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Inima if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Inima already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Inima isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Inima and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
