Her story: Inka was found in Romania with her three siblings, Inaya, Mogli, and Ivo, without their mother. The four of them had previously struggled to survive on the streets of Romania. In March, Inka traveled to a foster home in Germany. Inka is generally a clever dog and can now sit, stay, shake, and walks well on a leash. She loves being out and about and is a real little adventurer (she also likes to climb things now and then). She needs that too! In the city, she walked calmly with a second dog and a café visit did not bother her. When meeting other people, she sometimes meets them with a bit of skepticism, but love also goes through her stomach, and so a treat makes her your friend. When meeting other dogs, she sits politely and waits. But she also looks forward to the possibility of playing with them. At night, she usually sleeps through and also manages indoor potty training to 90%. She also loves car rides and longer distances are no problem for her either. Due to her past, Inka is still constantly searching for food in the house and finds it hard to settle down. Things are getting better, but it is definitely important to continue training. The box training (if desired) should also be gradually expanded. Currently, it is difficult for her when the cage door is slightly open. Even if you briefly disappear from her sight, she (despite having a second dog) reacts with her protest howling. We are currently working on building everything step by step, and it should continue that way. It is also important for her to consistently follow the rules because she constantly asks about them. From her fur color and build, one might assume that she is a mix of hunting dogs. We never know for sure with our mixed-breed strays. During puberty, she will likely test boundaries and perhaps forget some things she has learned. But once this phase is overcome, Inka will definitely be a great lifelong companion. Ihre Geschichte: Inka wurde in Rumänien gemeinsam mit ihren drei Geschwistern Inaya, Mogli und Ivo ohne ihre Mutter aufgesammelt. Zuvor haben die vier auf den Straßen Rumäniens um das Überleben gekämpft. Inka ist im März in ihre Pflegestelle nach Deutschland gereist. Inka ist grundsätzlich ein schlauer Hund und kann mittlerweile Sitz, Platz, Pfote und läuft gut an der Leine. Sie liebt es draußen unterwegs zu sein und ist eine richtige kleine Abenteurerin (sie klettert auch gerne irgendwo hoch). Sie braucht das auch! In der Stadt ist sie mit zweitem Hund souverän mitgelaufen und auch ein Cafébesuch hat sie nicht weiter gestört. Anderen Menschen begegnet sie manchmal zunächst eher skeptisch, aber Liebe geht auch bei ihr durch den Magen und so ist sie mit einem Leckerli deine Freundin. Begegnet man anderen Hunden setzt sie sich brav hin und wartet ab. Sie freut sich aber auch über die Möglichkeit mit ihnen zusammen spielen zu können. Nachts schläft sie meistens durch und auch tagsüber klappt es mit der Stubenreinheit zu 90%. Sie fährt auch super gerne und entspannt Auto, längere Strecken stellen hier auch kein Problem dar. Inka ist im Haus, aufgrund ihrer Vergangenheit, noch auf der ständigen Suche nach Futter und findet noch schwer Ruhe. Es wird langsam besser, ist aber definitiv wichtig weiter zu trainieren. Auch das Boxentraining (sofern es gewünscht ist), sollte Schritt für Schritt langsam weiter ausgebaut werden. Aktuell ist es für sie schwierig, sobald die Gittertür nur angelehnt wird. Auch wenn man kurz aus ihrem Sichtfeld verschwindet, reagiert sie (trotz zweitem Hund) direkt mit ihrem Protestgejaule. Gerade sind wir dabei, dass alles Schritt für Schritt aufzubauen und so sollte es auch weitergehen. Es ist auch gerade bei ihr wichtig, die Regeln konsequent einzuhalten, weil sie diese immer wieder anfragt. Von ihrer Fellfärbung und dem Körperbau her, könnte man vermuten, dass es sich bei der Bande um Jagdhundmixe handelt. Genau wissen wir das bei unseren bunt gemischten Streunern nie. Während der Pubertät wird sie sicherlich Grenzen testen und vielleicht schon gelernte Dinge wieder „vergessen“. Aber wenn man diese Phase erstmal gemeistert hat, wird Inka ganz bestimmt eine tolle Partnerin fürs Leben werden. Inka ist gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und bringt einen EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro in ihre neue Familie ziehen.
