Ivo is an unneutered Dalmatiner male dog born on 16.04.2019. Update 21.01.2026: Ivo shows such great behavior that the foster home was converted to an adoption option :-) Update 17.01.2026: Ivo has found a foster home. He is now searching for a permanent home. We will report when he has settled in. 06.11.2025: His owners described him as an insecure male dog who takes control without leadership. He is seeking a new home because he does not adapt well to roaming and would like to live in a fixed place with a regular daily routine. There is no shelter option for him if nothing is found. His owners described him: Ivo is an energetic, intelligent dog who is very clingy once he forms a bond. He shows initial aggression towards strangers, growling and barking to maintain distance, but warms up quickly with a calm, confident approach. He is sensitive, likes to test boundaries, and needs clear, consistent leadership, structure, and adequate mental stimulation. Ivo is not a beginner dog! • house-trained • basic commands are reliably retrieved • leash-friendly (still trainable with strong distractions) • Alone time: possible for 4–6 hours (so far with the company of a second dog) • Loves to travel in a caravan, but is a bit intimidated at the vet, but patiently submits to everything Ivo is in top condition and healthy. Er sucht ein neues Zuhause, da er das Wanderleben nicht gut verträgt und wieder an einem festen Ort mit geregeltem Tagesablauf leben möchte. Es gibt für ihn keine Bleibe Option, falls sich nichts findet. Seine Besitzer beschrieben ihn: Ivo ist ein bewegungsfreudiger, intelligenter Hund, der sehr anhänglich ist, sobald er eine Bindung aufgebaut hat. Bei Fremden zeigt er sich zunächst abweisend, knurrt und bellt zur Distanzwahrung, taut aber bei ruhiger, souveräner Ansprache recht schnell auf.
