Ivoire arrived at our shelter following a seizure by authorities; she was living in an apartment with about sixty other animals of the same species. She is a rather shy cat and it is still too early to say if she will develop in any way. Although she is not seeking human contact yet, Ivoire shows no signs of aggression and it is already possible to touch her. She can live in a home with another cat, preferably well-adjusted in order to help her progress in a positive way. For her well-being, we are looking for a calm home without children. Moreover, having been in contact with cats possibly infected with calicivirus, she is considered a carrier of this disease.

Ivoire est arrivée chez nous suite à une saisie ; elle vivait dans un appartement avec une soixantaine d’autres congénères. C’est une chatte plutôt timide et il est encore trop tôt pour dire si elle pourra évoluer d’une manière ou d’une autre. Bien qu’elle ne recherche pas encore le contact humain, Ivoire ne montre aucun signe d’agressivité et il est déjà possible de la toucher. Elle pourra vivre dans un foyer avec un autre chat, plutôt bien dans ses pattes afin de l’aider à progresser de façon positive. Pour son bien-être, nous lui recherchons un foyer calme et sans enfants. De plus, ayant été au contact de chats probablement calicivirus, elle est considérée comme porteuse de cette maladie.
