Met zijn knappe snoet en zachte blik komt hij graag naar je toe voor een aai of een knuffel. Hij is lief, aanhankelijk en geniet zichtbaar van alle aandacht die hij krijgt. Of je nu rustig op de bank zit of even langsloopt, Jaap zoekt je op, gewoon, omdat hij graag bij je is. Wat Jaap extra bijzonder maakt? Hij mist een achterpoot. Maar laat je daardoor niet misleiden: deze dappere jongen laat zich absoluut niet beperken. Op zijn drie pootjes hupt hij vrolijk rond en redt hij zich uitstekend. Sterker nog, hij is nog verrassend snel! Spelen doet hij dan ook maar al te graag, en hij laat zien dat hij vol levenslust zit. Jaap houdt van gezelligheid, van samen zijn en van lekker kroelen.
