Male cat who came to us for treatment. Jacek is a ginger cat who has managed on his own throughout his entire life so far. He is a free-roaming cat, trained in independence and caution towards the world where humans were not always a good thing. Jacek came to the animal shelter for treatment, and it turned out how much he had already been through. Eye problems were so severe that it was not possible to save the eye. Jacek is now a one-eyed cat. Although for many animals this does not pose an obstacle in daily functioning, in his case it means one thing: he can no longer return to the place where he lived before. On the street, without full abilities and support, he simply would not manage. Jacek does not know humans and does not understand their intentions. He defends himself as life taught him, hisses, scares, and may attack if he feels threatened. It is not a bad will, but fear and mechanisms that allowed him to survive. He needs enormous patience and space to try to look at humans differently. Jacek uses a crate, which is a big step towards a home life and gives hope that in time he will find himself in a safe environment. For now, we do not know how he reacts to other cats; everything is new and difficult for him. We are looking for a special place for Jacek. A quiet, calm home, or rather a shelter, where no one will expect closeness from him. Someone who accepts him as he is and allows him just to be. Perhaps he will never become a cat to be petted, but he deserves safety, care, and a life without fear. Jacek does not ask for much. He needs a corner, peace, and a person who understands that some stories require more time, and some trust cannot be rushed. Date of birth: ~02.2020. For cat adoption, an ID document and carrier are required. All dogs and cats are microchipped, dewormed, and vaccinated against infectious diseases. Dogs are also vaccinated against rabies. Adult animals can go to a new home after the neutering/spaying procedure. Puppies/kittens leave the Animal Shelter without the procedure, but they have a free spaying/neutering procedure guaranteed at the appropriate age. The age of the dog/cat is determined based on the condition of the teeth and general appearance, therefore it should be treated as an approximate value. Adoption is free. There is a possibility of transport - Warsaw, Krakow, Wrocław, Poznań, Katowice, Łódź, Lublin or other cities upon agreement. kocurek, który trafił do nas na leczenie. Jacek to rudy kot, który całe swoje dotychczasowe życie radził sobie sam. Jest kotem wolno żyjącym, nauczonym niezależności i ostrożności wobec świata, w którym człowiek nie zawsze oznaczał coś dobrego. Do schroniska trafił na leczenie i wtedy okazało się, jak wiele już przeszedł. Problemy z okiem były na tyle poważne, że nie udało się go uratować. Jacek jest dziś kotem jednookim. Choć dla wielu zwierząt nie stanowi to przeszkody w codziennym funkcjonowaniu, w jego przypadku oznacza jedno, nie może już wrócić w miejsce, gdzie wcześniej żył. Na wolności, bez pełnej sprawności i wsparcia, po prostu sobie nie poradzi. Jacek nie zna człowieka i nie rozumie jego intencji. Broni się tak, jak nauczyło go życie, syczy, odstrasza, potrafi zaatakować, jeśli poczuje się zagrożony. To nie jest zła wola, a strach i mechanizmy, które pozwoliły mu przetrwać. Potrzebuje ogromnej cierpliwości i przestrzeni, by choć spróbować spojrzeć na człowieka inaczej. Jacek korzysta z kuwety, co jest dużym krokiem w stronę życia domowego i daje nadzieję, że z czasem odnajdzie się w bezpiecznym środowisku. Na razie nie wiemy, jak reaguje na inne koty, wszystko jest dla niego nowe i trudne. Szukamy dla Jacka miejsca wyjątkowego. Spokojnego, cichego domu, a może raczej azylu, w którym nikt nie będzie oczekiwał od niego bliskości. Kogoś, kto zaakceptuje go takim, jakim jest i pozwoli mu po prostu być. Być może nigdy nie stanie się kotem do głaskania, ale zasługuje na bezpieczeństwo, opiekę i życie bez strachu. Jacek nie prosi o wiele. Wystarczy mu kąt, spokój i człowiek, który zrozumie, że niektóre historie wymagają więcej czasu, a niektóre zaufania nie da się przyspieszyć. Wszystkie psy i koty są zachipowane, odrobaczone, zaszczepione przeciwko chorobom zakaźnym. Psy również przeciwko wściekliźnie. Dorosłe zwierzęta mogą wyruszyć do nowego domu po wykonanym zabiegu kastracji/sterylizacji. Szczenięta/kocięta opuszczają schronisko bez zabiegu, ale mają zapewniony darmowy zabieg sterylizacji/kastracji w odpowiednim wieku. Wiek psa/kota określany jest na podstawie stanu uzębienia i wyglądu ogólnego, dlatego należy go traktować jako wartość orientacyjną.
