Jack needs someone a little bit special. Could you be the person Jack is waiting for?Jack isn't looking for just any home. He needs someone who understands that some dogs need a little more time, patience and understanding.Jack is an affectionate, playful boy who has shown he can settle beautifully in a home environment. He enjoys calm play, relaxing and spending time with his people. But we want to be completely honest — finding the right home for Jack is much more important than finding him a home quickly.Jack can become worried when overwhelmed, particularly around children, runners, cyclists, scooters, busy environments and sudden close approaches. He can also find some situations around resting, food and items difficult. His warning signs can be subtle, so his new family will need to understand his body language and know when he needs space.🏡 Jack needs:• An adult-only home, with no children or visiting children.• Someone with terrier experience, ideally with experience of reactive or sensitive dogs.• A quiet, predictable home and short leaving hours.• Someone willing to continue his training and behaviour support at home.• Someone patient, committed and prepared to work closely with our team.Jack's placement will initially be a trial adoption, with multiple meets and a carefully supported transition. His new family must be willing to take part in ongoing support and reviews.We're not looking for someone who thinks, “I'll see how he goes.”We're looking for someone who can say:“I understand there will be challenges, but I'm prepared to learn, get support and give Jack the time he needs.”If that's you, we'd love to hear from you.
