Voor Jack zoeken we een thuis waar hij op termijn naar buiten kan in een veilige omgeving. Karakter en achtergrond van de kat: Jack is naar schatting 9 maanden oud en is een enorme deugniet: nieuwsgierig, aanhankelijk en een enorme knuffelaar. Jack is heel erg nieuwsgierig. Hij zal je aanhankelijke partner in crime worden: hij volgt je overal, observeert je bij elk taakje en geeft tussendoor graag kopjes. Als je hem even niet vindt, zal hij bij het avonturieren weer een onmogelijke plek hebben gevonden. Elegant kan je hem niet noemen: hij loopt regelmatig ergens tegen of valt ergens van af, maar dat lijkt hem niet te storen. Belangrijk om weten is dat Jack ook enorm veel energie heeft. Hij heeft iemand nodig die regelmatig met hem speelt, anders zal hij met je voeten beginnen spelen (letterlijk). Om die energie kwijt te kunnen, denken we dat Jack het best toegang tot een veilige tuin zou hebben. Hij heeft een tijdje op straat gezeten en is het gewend om buiten te zijn. Hij is naar alle waarschijnlijkheid te vroeg uit het nestje gehaald waardoor hij wat moeite heeft met communiceren. Hij durft sneller bijten, niet uit agressie, maar omdat hij gewoon nog aan het leren is hoe hij het best communiceert en speelt. Eens je hem wat beter leert kennen en begrijpen, geeft hij enorm veel liefde terug. Daarom zoeken we een adoptiegezin met veel geduld dat bereid is zijn signalen te leren lezen en hem te begrijpen. Omdat kinderen die taal moeilijker kunnen inschatten, plaatsen we hem liever in een gezin zonder kinderen. Ook van honden is hij geen fan. Momenteel is hij graag alleen maar dit kan in de toekomst veranderen eenmaal hij zich helemaal thuis voelt en duidelijk veel wil spelen. Jack is getest op aids en leucose en testte negatief voor beide. Alle katten zijn ontvlooid, ontwormd, gevaccineerd, gesteriliseerd, gechipt en geregistreerd. We vragen de gebruikelijke tussenkomst in de dierenartskosten van 180 euro wanneer 1 vaccin reeds gegeven werd, en 200 euro indien beide vaccinaties al gegeven werden. Adoptieprocedure: Er wordt eerst telefonisch nagegaan of er een goede match kan zijn tussen jou en de kat, nadien kan een afspraak gemaakt worden voor een bezoekje zodat jullie met elkaar kunnen kennis maken. Bij adoptie wordt een adoptiecontract getekend en de adoptiebijdrage wordt betaald bij het afhalen van de kat. Iedere kat vertrekt met een Europees paspoort.
