Jack Sparrow – GSD

Mixed Breed · Male · Senior · 10 years

Jack is an elderly chap and thought to be 8-10 years old. He is a sweet, calm, friendly boy who enjoys spending his time relaxing so he needs a peaceful, calm environment with no fuss. He will make a lovely companion and walks well on the lead. He currently weighs 23kg and measures 68 cms from the ground to the top of his head and 90 cms from the end of his nose to the base of his tail. We measure energy on a scale to 1-5 with 5 being high energy – his is only 2! We hope that he can find a quiet home with someone who is a little lonely so they can help one another.

About Jack Sparrow – GSD

What life with Jack Sparrow – GSD looks like

Jack Sparrow – GSD is a senior mixed breed dog waiting at Friends of the Strays of Greece.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇬🇷Adopting from Greece

Greek shelters often partner with Northern European rescue groups for placements. Animals are sterilized, vaccinated, and chipped before adoption. Fees vary widely depending on whether the shelter is municipal or NGO-run.

Frequently asked

Adopting Jack Sparrow – GSD, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Jack Sparrow – GSD?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Friends of the Strays of Greece handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Jack Sparrow – GSD on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Jack Sparrow – GSD if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Friends of the Strays of Greece will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Jack Sparrow – GSD already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Jack Sparrow – GSD isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Friends of the Strays of Greece early rather than rehoming privately; they know Jack Sparrow – GSD and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
