Current location: animal shelter Istanbul (Turkey) Surrender reason: Jack came to the station as a found dog. He is very friendly with people and bonds once he has gained their trust. This can take some time, as he learned early on that people often harm him more than help him. He gets along well with fellow animals (male dogs and female dogs) and is otherwise an intelligent dog. Jack still has a lot to learn, such as walking on a leash or basic obedience. There is a lack of time and helpers in the station to teach the dogs these skills. Therefore, his new owners should have plenty of time available. He can be rehomed as a second dog. We believe that he will gain more self-confidence in a stable and responsible home. At any rate, he is very friendly with people and has a good character.

Derzeitiger Aufenthaltsort: Tierheim Istanbul (Türkei) Abgabegrund: Fundhund Jack kam als Fundhund in die Station. Er ist sehr lieb zu Menschen und bindet sich, wenn er einmal Vertrauen gefasst hat. Das kann anfangs etwas Zeit in Anspruch nehmen, da er früh gelernt hat, dass Menschen ihm eher schaden als Gutes tun. Er kommt prima mit Artgenossen (Rüden und Hündinnen) klar und ist ansonsten auch ein aufgeweckter Hund. Jack muss noch viel lernen, beispielsweise das Laufen an der Leine oder den Grundgehorsam. In der Station fehlt es sowohl an Zeit als auch an Helfern, um den Hunden dies beizubringen. Daher sollten seine neuen Besitzer über entsprechend viel Zeit verfügen. Er kann gerne als Zweithund vermittelt werden. Wir denken, dass er in einem stabilen und verantwortungsvollen Zuhause noch an Selbstbewusstsein gewinnen wird. Jedenfalls ist er Menschen gegenüber sehr lieb und besitzt einen guten Charakter.
