Janna

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 3 months

Janna lives with her sister Bonnie in our Romanian shelter. The two come from a village where their mother lived with a woman. Some of the puppies have already found families, but Janna and Bonnie were left behind. To give them a chance at a good life, they were brought to us. Janna is about 3 months old, female, and will probably remain small when fully grown. She is a very friendly, gentle, and sweet little puppy who immediately charms with her loving nature. On site, Janna is a very social little dog. She is friendly to people, gets along with other dogs, and knows cats. As expected for her age, she also has a playful and curious side. Like any puppy, Janna is still at the beginning and needs to learn the ABCs of being a dog. This includes, among other things, house training, walking on a leash, new impressions, and adjusting to family life. That's why we wish for Janna a loving home where she can grow up with patience, care, and a clear, friendly upbringing. Attending a positive dog school would also be a great support for her. With the right guidance, Janna will surely grow into a great little companion who will give her family a lot of love and joy. Janna travels with a microchip, vaccinated, dewormed, and de-loused with a valid EU pet passport. She will be placed after a positive pre-check and for a deposit. If you would like to give Janna a home or can imagine accompanying her as a foster home on her way, please contact us or fill out the self-disclosure form directly. Thank you for your sponsorship, dear Henrike. Thanks to you, the two sisters Bonnie and Janna not only have their beautiful names, but also the chance at a better life. Status: 13.07.2026

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! About Janna

What life with Janna looks like

Janna is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Janna, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Janna?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Janna on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Janna if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Janna already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Janna isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Janna and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
