Her story: Jany lived her previous life near a fire station in Romania. Here, she was fed, given attention, and was known to everyone. She always showed friendliness and clinginess towards people. Last year, the fire station needed renovation, and it was too dangerous for Jany to stay there. She was given to our animal protectors, who have cared for her devotedly. Although Jany had always had close contact with humans, she was not in the best condition. She had an eye infection and was full of parasites. Fortunately, she recovered quickly, and the treatment was completed swiftly. Jany now lives in our cat room, where she waits for her first home! Just like before, Jany does not shy away from human contact at all. She would prefer to be petted and stroked all day long 🙂 She is no longer a bundle of energy and is content with a cozy home where she can simply be herself and be happy with a soft paw. Even though Jany places a great value on contact and the presence of humans, her contact with other cats is equally important. She is very friendly and gets along well with both young, active cats and more laid-back cats. For her, the only thing that matters is that she is not alone and has fellow animals to spend time with. Therefore, we would like to place Jany as a pair. If you don't already have a soft paw waiting for Jany, she would be happy to bring one of her friends with her. Her caretakers do not see her as an outdoor cat due to her history and will only rehome her as an indoor cat. The only reminder of Janys' past is an occasional cough. The doctors in Romania could not find a cause despite thorough examination. They assume that the cough is the result of her long street life. She likely had many colds that were not treated and spent too many cold winters outdoors. The cough does not bother Jany and is currently not strongly pronounced. Jany can now start her journey to her new home and is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. Additionally, she has tested negative for FIV and FeLV and comes with an EU pet passport. Ihre Geschichte: Jany lebte ihr vorheriges Leben in der Nähe einer Feuerwache in Rumänien. Hier wurde sie gefüttert, bekam Aufmerksamkeit und war allen bekannt. Schon hier zeigte sie sich Menschen immer freundlich und anhänglich. Die Feuerwache musste letztes Jahr renoviert werden und für Jany war es zu gefährlich, weiterhin dort zu bleiben. Sie wurde unseren Tierschützern übergeben, die sich aufopferungsvoll um sie gekümmert haben. Obwohl Jany immer engen Kontakt zu Menschen hatte, war sie nicht in bestem Zustand. Sie hatte eine Augeninfektion und war voll Parasiten. Zum Glück keine schlimmen Dinge, Jany hat sich fix erholt und die Behandlung war schnell beendet. Jany lebt jetzt in unserem Katzenraum, von wo aus sie auf ihr erstes eigenes Zuhause wartet! Wie es auch damals schon war scheut Jany den Kontakt zu Menschen so gar nicht. Sie würde sich am liebsten den ganzen Tag betüddeln und streicheln lassen 🙂 Altersentsprechend ist sie sicherlich kein großes Energiebündel mehr und freut sich über ein gemütliches Zuhause, wo sie einfach sein kann, wie sie ist und man sich über eine aufgeschlossene Samtpfote freut. Auch wenn Jany sehr großen Wert auf Kontakt und die Anwesenheit von Menschen legt, ist ihr der Kontakt zu den anderen Katzen genauso wichtig. Sie ist sehr umgänglich und kommt sowohl mit jungen aktiven Katzen super aus, als auch mit gemütlicheren Katzen. Für sie zählt nur, dass sie nicht alleine ist und Artgenossen hat, die ihre Zeit mit ihr verbringen. Uns liegt es daher am Herzen, dass wir Jany nicht als Einzelkatze vermitteln. Wenn bei dir noch keine Samtpfote auf Jany wartet, nimmt sie gerne einen ihrer Freunde mit zu dir. Ihre Pflegerinnen sehen sie aufgrund ihrer Vorgeschichte auch nicht länger als Freigängerin und wird deshalb nur als reine Wohnungskatze vermittelt. Das Einzige, das an Janys Vergangenheit noch erinnert, ist ein gelegentliches husten. Die Ärzte in Rumänien können trotz ausgiebiger Untersuchung keine Ursache finden. Sie gehen davon aus, dass der Husten das Resultat des langen Straßenlebens ist. Vermutlich hatte sie in der langen Zeit viele Erkältungen, die nicht behandelt worden sind und hat zu viele kalte Winter im Freien verbracht. Der Husten stört Jany nicht und derzeit ist er auch nicht stark ausgeprägt. Jany kann ab sofort ihre Reise in ihr neues Zuhause antreten und ist dann gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Außerdem wurde sie negativ auf FIV und FeLV getestet und bringt auch gleich einen EU-Heimtierausweis mit. Nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle und einer Schutzgebühr in Höhe von 250 Euro steht ihrer Reise in ihre neue Heimat nichts mehr im Wege. Wo darf unsere herzensgute Jany ihren Lebensabend verbringen?
