Marilena hat mit ihrer Bekannten Ofelia dort Futterstellen eingerichtet. Einige Tiere sind sehr scheu. So konnte Ofelia das Vertrauen von Jara gewinnen und Marilena konnte sie sichern. Bei dem ersten Besucht bei Dr. Malina stellte sich heraus, dass sie gesund und munter ist. Sie wurde kastriert und konnte dann ins Shelter einziehen. Jara ist eine verschmuste, menschenbezogene Katze, die sich auch mit den anderen Katzen versteht.
