Jasmínka

Female · Kitten

Jasmine was taken in on 20 July 2026. She is a female cat born in May 2026. She has been dewormed, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. We took Jasmine in from Jihlava, where she was born to a stray cat. We are trying to catch the mother cat for spaying to prevent her from having more unwanted litters. Jasmine is the least trusting of the litter and initially does not trust strangers. However, once you get to know her, she allows herself to be petted, purrs beautifully, and shows what a sweetheart she is. She is also the biggest player, able to entertain herself with anything and purr contentedly. Of her siblings, she is the smartest but also the most cautious. She is a cat who does not give her trust away easily, but if you wait a while, her love will be all the more valuable. She is looking for a home exclusively as a house cat, apartment or single-family home, with screened windows/balcony for her safety. A feline friend is necessary.

About Jasmínka

What life with Jasmínka looks like

Jasmínka is a puppy/kitten cat waiting at Mikes HB in Havlíčkův Brod.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇨🇿Adopting from Czech Republic

Czech shelters (útulky) include sterilization, vaccinations, and microchip ID. The adopter signs a written contract (smlouva) — the shelter may follow up to verify wellbeing.

Frequently asked

Adopting Jasmínka, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Jasmínka?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Mikes HB handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Jasmínka on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Jasmínka if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Mikes HB will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Jasmínka already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Jasmínka isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Mikes HB early rather than rehoming privately; they know Jasmínka and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (CS). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
