Er ist sehr anhänglich und verschmust bis aufdringlich. Jasper ist von gutmütigem Wesen, immer etwas drüber und sehr neugierig. An seiner Leinenführigkeit muss noch gearbeitet werden. Trifft er andere Hunde unterwegs möchte er unbedingt hin und spielen, davon kann er kaum genug bekommen. Jasper sucht Menschen mit Humor und Entdeckergeist, die ihm aber auch die notwendige Ruhe vermitteln können. Für Kinder ist Jasper zu stürmisch.
