Jean Grey

Mixed Breed Β· Female Β· Kitten Β· 4 months

Jean Grey was brought into our branch on the 22nd July 2026 along with her 5 kittens. All were strays and suffering symptoms of cat flu and needed help asap. Jean Grey has been an excellent mother to her babies, all of which have found loving homes. Just as we were getting Jean Grey ready for her chance to be adopted, it was discovered that she was pregnant again! Exactly 2 months after arriving, Jean Grey gave birth to 6 more babies, creating a superhero team to rival the Avengers. She has now finished weaning off her second litter and is officially done with motherhood. She is looking for a peaceful place to call home, to venture without fear and find her forever family.

About Jean Grey

What life with Jean Grey looks like

Jean Grey is a kitten mixed breed cat waiting at RSPCA Lincolnshire Mid & Lincoln Branch in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months β€” most shelters arrange this before adoption.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Jean Grey, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Jean Grey?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Lincolnshire Mid & Lincoln Branch handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Jean Grey on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Jean Grey if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” RSPCA Lincolnshire Mid & Lincoln Branch will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Jean Grey already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Jean Grey isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Lincolnshire Mid & Lincoln Branch early rather than rehoming privately; they know Jean Grey and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
