Jeanne arrived at our shelter with her kittens after living as a stray in a garden for several months. She is a cat who has had a difficult journey and now seeks a stable and secure home. Jeanne is quite timid and will need time, patience, and gentleness to learn to trust and feel safe in her new environment. Her past as a stray and her role as a mother explain in part her reserve and need for reassuring routines. We do not yet know her interactions with other animals, so we must remain cautious and proceed with gradual introductions.

Jeanne est arrivée au refuge avec ses chatons après avoir vécu errante dans un jardin pendant plusieurs mois. C’est une chatte qui a connu un parcours difficile et qui recherche aujourd’hui un foyer stable et sécurisant. Jeanne est assez craintive et aura besoin de temps, de patience et de douceur pour apprendre à faire confiance et se sentir en sécurité dans son nouvel environnement. Son passé d’errance et son rôle de maman expliquent en partie sa réserve et son besoin de repères rassurants. Nous ne connaissons pas encore ses ententes avec les autres animaux, il faudra donc rester prudent et procéder à des présentations progressives.
