Jeff arrived at the shelter following the death of his owner. The house had to be sold, so Jeff could not stay there. The poor health of the man's former companion prevented her from taking him back home. Jeff is a cat with an independent personality, used to living outdoors. He does not come spontaneously to strangers, which is why few visitors have had the opportunity to see him. Life at Felinecity seems to suit him well. He finds the freedom he loves in complete safety.

Jeff est arrivé au refuge suite au décès de son maître. La maison devant être vendue, Jeff ne pouvait pas y rester. La mauvaise santé de l’ancienne compagne de ce monsieur l’empêchait de le reprendre chez elle. Jeff est un chat au caractère indépendant, habitué à vivre en extérieur. Il ne vient pas spontanément vers les inconnus, c’est pourquoi peu de visiteurs ont déjà eu l’occasion de l’apercevoir. La vie à Felinecity semble bien lui convenir. Il y retrouve la liberté qu’il aime tant en toute sécurité.
