Jenna

Husky · Female · Adult · 4 years

Hello, Jenna, I am a blue-eyed, long-haired husky girl. I know, I know… you might think that every morning I spend two hours in front of the mirror, but I promise you, it’s natural. I endure the grooming with patience because in secret, I enjoy being the focus and getting pampered. I am friendly with people, but I just need to take a good look at myself first to make sure I’m a good girl. If you are (and why wouldn’t you be), then I will slowly uncurl and you can start petting me. As for the other dogs… well… let’s just say I’m a “career in speaking” kind of girl. I don’t like sharing the mirror, the games, the owner, the couch, the air… in other words, I’m looking for a place where I can be the only four-legged queen. If you are patient and kind, and you value the delicate, beautiful huskies, and you don’t mind that the household only has one long-haired queen, then I think we will get along very well.

HU·Show original

Helló, Jenna vagyok, a kék szemű, hosszú szőrű huskylány.

About Jenna

What life with Jenna looks like

Jenna is a adult husky dog waiting at description in Hungary.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Jenna, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Jenna?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. description handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Jenna on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Jenna if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — description will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Jenna already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Jenna isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with description early rather than rehoming privately; they know Jenna and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
