Adopt Jerry

Collie · Male · Young · 1 year

Jerry is a lovely lad who came to the centre via an inspector after he was found living in squalid conditions along with many other dogs. Due to his past being very restricted, it has left him unsure when to adapting to new situations and surroundings. He is a very sweet natured boy who is learning that there is a whole world out there for him to explore, he is beginning to understand that life can be fun and exciting but it all has to be done at his own pace. Jerry will need adopters who will commit to his continued training, he is unsure around traffic and will need his family to help him and continue with the work we have been doing with him since arriving at the centre. Jerry is a lovely boy who is beginning his new life away from the confinement of his previous home, he will need an experienced owner and is not suitable for first time dog owners. Jerry is a very friendly and affectionate dog who loves being with his people, he will make a fantastic addition to the family lucky enough to adopt him. Jerry's adopters will need to meet with the centre's behaviourist before adoption to help with his transition in to a new home. Jerry is suitable to live with other dogs after a successful introduction at the centre and children aged 14 years and over.
