Jimmy

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Kitten · 2 months

🐱 Dobrý deň prajem! 🐾 Som drobček v pravom slova zmysle. Volám sa Jimmy a mám ledva 2 mesiace. 🥹❤️ Cez moje veľké bruško a malé nožičky častokrát ledva chodím. 😂 Ale keď ma niečo zaujme, letím ako strela! Teda, skôr sa kotúľam, ale proste idem! 💨😹 V dočaske som spolu s mojimi dvoma mini kamoškami, a preto by som rád odišiel s jednou z nich. ❤️ Sme totiž veľmi maličkí a potrebujem oporu. 🥺💔 Preto vás prosím, ak by ste chceli práve mňa, zoberte si nás rovno dvoch! 🐱🐱 Ja som živé striebro a sestričky sú nežné zlatíčka, takže sa perfektne dopĺňame. 💕✨ Som čerstvo čipovaný a zaočkovaný prvou vakcínou, preto ma bude potrebné ešte preočkovať. 💉🐾 🏡 Domov si hľadám výlučne vnútri a na adopčnú zmluvu. Už nikdy nechcem byť sám, preto vás prosím, ak máte dostatok času a hlavne lásky, zavolajte alebo napíšte, nech sme čoskoro spolu! ❤️🐾 Váš malý papkáč a nezbedník Jimmy 🐱💕 O.Z. Žilinské Labky ©

About Jimmy

What life with Jimmy looks like

Jimmy is a large kitten mixed breed cat waiting at OZ Žilinské labky in Žilina.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇸🇰Adopting from Slovakia

Slovak rescue groups coordinate cross-border transport with European partners. Animals are chipped and vaccinated; sterilization is often included for adults and arranged post-adoption for puppies/kittens.

Frequently asked

Adopting Jimmy, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Jimmy?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. OZ Žilinské labky handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Jimmy on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Jimmy if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — OZ Žilinské labky will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Jimmy already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Jimmy isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with OZ Žilinské labky early rather than rehoming privately; they know Jimmy and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (SK). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
