Když k nám přišel po úrazu autem, nevěděly jsme dne ani hodiny. Byl plachý, vystrašený a bojácný. Močil krev, měl odraženou ledvinu a otřes mozku, zadní nožky mu trošku plavaly. A teď se dobře dívejte na našeho Jíru dneska. Krásný, statný, s čuminkou kulatou jako melounek. To je náš Jíra. Je klidný a hodný. Nechá si pohladit kožíšek, hlavně od tety Míly, která se o něho stará. Ale přece jenom nějaká ostražitost v něm zůstala. Při změně prostředí bude samozřejmě vystrašený. Potřebuje klidnější a bezpečné prostředí. A pomalý a laskavý přístup. Už je u nás dlouho. Přály bychom mu opravdický, milující domov. Najdeme ho pro Jíru?Jíra se podruhé narodil. Srazilo ho auto, měl otok mozku, nalomenou kostrč, ledviny nárazem utrpěly a měl vysoké hodnoty, ocásek měl omezenou funkci. Několik týdnu močil krev. Při jakékoli manipulaci plakal, bolelo ho celé tělo.
