Now Joey and Samson, born on April 30, 2024, are almost 2 years old...they were born in our animal shelter, their loving mother Wilma (born around 2020) was brought to us as a carrying, shy cat from Straßberg. As you can see in the video, Joey and Samson have ataxia. For a long time, we were worried about their lives, they had to endure a long treatment period and physiotherapies...but the two have fought their way into life and manage with their handicap, they know no different. Joey and Samson could not be more different in character. Samson, the bold daredevil, who still only reluctantly allows himself to be touched and doesn’t like other cats, except his brother and mother. Joey, on the other hand, is a real sunbeam, very trusting, and affectionate. Joey also has a more severe form of ataxia, but has adapted to it very well. Wilma is at first a reserved cat towards humans, but once she has your trust, she enjoys being stroked. She is open to other cats, so we would like a home for Wilma as a second cat to a loving fellow animal. Suitable for apartment living would be okay, but then only with a secured balcony or something similar, as she enjoys the time outdoors very much. Joey and Samson can only be rehomed together, also in a suitable for apartment living home with a secured balcony or terrace.

Nun sind Joey und Samson, geb. am 30.04.24 schon fast 2 Jahre alt...sie sind bei uns im Tierheim geboren, ihre liebe Mama Wilma (geb. ca. 2020) wurde uns damals als tragende scheue Katze aus Straßberg gebracht. Wie man im Video sehen kann, haben Joey und Samson Ataxie. Lange haben wir damals um ihre Leben gebangt, eine lange Behandlungszeit und Physiotherapien mussten sie über sich ergehen lassen...aber die 2 haben sich ihren Weg ins Leben erkämpft und kommen mit ihrem Handicap klar, sie kennen es ja nicht anders. Joey und Samson könnten vom Charakter nicht unterschiedlicher sein. Samson, der freche Draufgänger, der sich aber immer noch nur widerwillig anfassen lässt und andere Katzen, außer Bruder und Mama gar nicht mag. Joey dagegen ist ein richtiger Sonnenschein, sehr zutraulich und liebebedürftig. Joey hat auch eine schwerere Form der Ataxie, hat sich aber sehr gut damit arrangiert. Wilma ist anfangs eine zurückhaltende Katze uns Menschen gegenüber, hat man aber ihr Vertrauen, dann genießt sie es, gestreichelt zu werden. Sie ist offen anderen Katzen gegenüber, deshalb würden wir uns für Wilma ein Zuhause als Zweitkatze zu einem lieben Artgenossen wünschen. Wohnungshaltung wäre okay, dann aber nur mit einem gesicherten Balkon o.ä., da sie den Aufenthalt an der frischen Luft sehr genießt. Joey und Samson werden nur zusammen vermittelt, ebenfalls in Wohnungshaltung mit gesichertem Balkon oder Terrasse. Hinzu kommt noch eine Bedingung für eine
