From the very first moments, it’s clear that they share a special bond. Currently, Joker approaches his new surroundings with caution. The shelter environment—unfamiliar smells, strange people, and an entirely new place—means he needs time to feel safe. He’s not yet ready to fully trust others, but with a patient and understanding person by his side, Joker will surely gain confidence. Joker also needs training in walking on a leash. We’re looking for a guardian who will respect his pace of development and help him overcome his past fears. DON’T BUY—ADOPT! A dog that comes to our shelter is placed under a 14-day quarantine period. If the owner doesn’t pick him up within this time, the dog will be vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and we’ll start searching for a new guardian for him. A condition of adoption is completing the questionnaire available on our website, agreeing to a pre- or post-adoption home visit, and signing an adoption agreement.
