adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Jolie suddenly appeared. Together with her sister, she one day appeared in the courtyard of a hut in Bologa, as if simply dropped off. No chip, no one had been searching for her. Everything points to the fact that they were deliberately left behind. Despite this start, Jolie shows herself today exactly as a young dog should: open, friendly, and full of trust. She approaches people without hesitation, is happy to receive any affection, and enjoys closeness as a matter of course. She is neither pushy nor hectic, but brings a pleasant, balanced manner. With other dogs, she is well compatible, and she already knows cats. She moves confidently in her surroundings, likes to play, and curiously explores everything around her. What Jolie still does not know is a home of her own. Fixed routines, quiet phases, everyday noises, or even being alone will be new to her. Leash training also stands at the beginning and must be built up step by step. As with every young dog, puberty will also come for Jolie – a time when boundaries are tested and not everything works immediately. With patience, clear orientation, and a calm, reliable companion, she will find her way. Jolie is looking for people who will not only take her in but also integrate her into their lives. People who will show her what security feels like and are ready to accompany her through the next development steps. Also, a positively working dog training class can be of great help. Jolie is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated and travels with an EU pet passport. She is named after her namesake, Andreas K., who gave her this name. As of: 09.05.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Stand: 09.05.2026

About Jolie

What life with Jolie looks like

Jolie is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Jolie, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Jolie?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Jolie on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Jolie if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Jolie already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Jolie isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Jolie and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
