Jommeke arrived as a foundling at our shelter. It was clear that he had been wandering the streets for some time, as his long coat was completely energetic. In the meantime, he has had a makeover and now looks fresher. Jommeke needs some time to adjust to new situations and people, but once he is comfortable, he enjoys socializing. Due to his timid nature, we prefer not to place him with young and/or active children. Jommeke tested positive for FIV+, so he can only be placed as an indoor cat. He may potentially live with other FIV+ cats, but we do not know how he would react.

Jommeke kwam als vondeling bij ons terecht. Het was duidelijk dat hij al even op straat ronddoolde, want zijn lange vacht was helemaal vervild. Ondertussen kreeg hij bij ons een opknapbeurt en ziet hij er al terug een pak frisser uit. Jommeke heeft wat tijd nodig om te wennen aan nieuwe situaties en personen, maar eens op zijn gemak komt hij met plezier kopjes geven. Door zijn timide karaktertje plaatsen we hem liever niet bij jonge en/of drukke kinderen. Jommeke testte positief voor FIV+ en wordt daarom enkel als binnenkat geplaatst. Hij kan eventueel bij andere FIV+ katten samen leven, maar we weten niet hoe hij daarop reageert.
