Auf Berührungen von Menschen scheint er noch etwas verhalten zu reagieren und sich nicht ganz so wohl zu fühlen – bei der Vorgeschichte, wenig verwunderlich. Trotz allem kann er Nähe zulassen und sich überwinden überhaupt Berührungen zuzulassen. Bei einer Familie, die ihm Zeit gibt sich zu öffnen und Vertrauen in seinem Tempo aufbauen zu können, wird er seine schlimme Vergangenheit vielleicht vollständig hinter sich lassen können. Sich mit Beschwichtigungssignalen und Meideverhalten von Hunden auseinanderzusetzen, wäre sehr wünschenswert.
