Jonny has grown into a wonderful adult male dog and keeps making progress. With people he trusts, he now shows his affectionate side: he not only enjoys being petted, he even asks for it himself. His greatest challenge remains the leash. Pulling on the leash unsettles Jonny and triggers panic in him. We keep practicing this consistently, and he is increasingly able to enjoy walks. For Jonny we are looking for empathetic, patient people who can give him security and continue working on his fears together with him. Jonny may need a little longer to build trust, but whoever gives him that time will gain a very special, loyal companion. With other dogs he is very social and tolerant. A confident second dog would be advantageous for him. Escape-proof and low-traffic surroundings; experience with raising anxious dogs is an advantage; no children.

Jonny hat sich zu einem wundervollen erwachsenen Rüden entwickelt und macht immer mehr Fortschritte. Bei Menschen, denen er vertraut, zeigt er inzwischen seine verschmuste Seite: Streicheleinheiten genießt er nicht nur, sondern fordert sie mittlerweile sogar selbst ein. Seine größte Herausforderung ist weiterhin die Leine. Leinenzug verunsichert Jonny und löst bei ihm Panik aus. Daran wird kontinuierlich geübt und inzwischen kann er das Gassigehen immer mehr genießen. Für Jonny suchen wir einfühlsame, geduldige Menschen, die ihm Sicherheit geben und gemeinsam mit ihm weiter an seinen Ängsten arbeiten. Jonny braucht vielleicht ein bisschen länger, um Vertrauen zu fassen – aber wer ihm diese Zeit schenkt, bekommt einen ganz besonderen, treuen Begleiter. Mit Artgenossen ist er sehr sozial und verträglich. Ein souveräner Zweithund wäre vorteilhaft für ihn. ausbruchsicheres und verkehrsberuhigtes Umfeld, Erfahrung mit der Erziehung von ängstlichen Hunden von Vorteil, keine Kinder
