Adoption requirements Adoption process Request this animal now! Adoption requirements Adoption process Request this dog now! In a foster home in Baia Mare, Judi, Lady and Joschy, three beautiful shepherd dog mix puppies, are waiting for loving adopters who want to give them a proper dog life. Although Judi is a particularly sweet and pretty puppy, she has been nowhere welcome so far and therefore we would like to find her a loving home as quickly as possible. Judi got her name, was photographed and is looking on this page for kind people who can take her in and give her a permanent home. We would also be very happy about a foster home where Judi can take her first steps into a happy life. The sweet puppy is only about three to four months old and still a little dog. She is affectionate and enjoys every attention from us humans. With her striking, shiny black coat and shining black eyes, she is a particularly beautiful little mouse. Judi is a shepherd dog mix puppy that is expected to grow into a sporty, medium-sized female dog. Naturally, Judi has no experience with life as a house dog and also knows nothing about being housebroken or walking on a leash. Therefore, the little female dog will have to learn a lot in her home and needs not only love but also consistent training. In a few months she will reach puberty, which could mess up everything she has learned so far. But with some humor and patience and a loving but consistent style of upbringing, one can support Judi's development into a well-mannered and confident young dog. After getting used to her new home, Judi will certainly appreciate visiting a positively working dog school, which can support her self-confidence and bond with her new owner. For the beautiful Judi, we wish active people who meet her respectfully and lovingly and have already dealt with the typical characteristics of shepherd dogs. Her family should offer her lots of dog contact and be willing to patiently and consistently work on the upbringing of the puppy. If you have fallen in love with the sweet Judi and want to offer her a good dog life, then contact us! After a positive preliminary check and against a fee, she can be microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and treated for fleas and travel to her new home, and she also has her EU pet passport with her. We thank Sandra L., the godmother, who gave Judi her name. Status: 12.03.2026 More information about the preliminary check and fee

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen!

About Judi

What life with Judi looks like

Judi is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Judi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Judi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Judi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Judi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Judi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Judi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Judi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
