Though affectionate and loyal with his people, Juke has protective instincts that mean he needs slow, thoughtful introductions to new faces. Once he understands that he’s safe, his trusting nature emerges and he becomes a genuinely devoted companion. Because of his strong prey drive, he’s not suitable for homes with cats or small animals – but in the right environment, he’ll flourish.
