June (born 2020) is a Malinois mix female, about 58 cm tall and weighing roughly 25 kg, who has been living in her foster home since June 2024. Unfortunately, this beautiful dog is repeatedly overlooked and has therefore been waiting a long time for her big chance at a home of her own. Malinois mixes are considered particularly intelligent, sensitive, and eager-to-work dogs that need clear, calm leadership and a good balance of physical and mental exercise. June shows exactly this: she bonds closely with her primary caregiver, learns quickly, and enjoys working together with her people. In everyday life, she presents herself as a loyal and affectionate companion. She greatly enjoys walks, has no problems with car travel, and cuddle time together is among her favorite moments. At the same time, she has breed-typical energy and prey drive, which is why no small animals, cats, or smaller dogs should live in her new home. June is friendly and open toward people. She is easy to train if you have a confident sense of dog communication. On the leash, when very close to her primary caregiver, she occasionally reacts impatiently to unfamiliar dogs and tries to keep them at a distance.
