Junis came to us from a feeding station at the beginning of the year with a great mistrust of humans. For the first few weeks, he preferred to stay in the background and had nothing to do with us two-legged beings. But with much patience and loving consistency, Junis has made small but significant steps: in quiet moments, he now allows himself to be stroked by his trusted caretakers and even enjoys this closeness a little. Junis is no tomcat for quick progress. Anyone who wants to adopt him should bring a lot of patience, empathy, and experience in dealing with anxious cats. A hectic household or children would be too stressful for him. He needs people who understand his quiet nature and accept him as he is. He is FIV-positive but has shown no symptoms so far and can therefore live with a secure roam, for example, in a secured garden or a protected courtyard where he can enjoy the sun and observe the world. Junis is not looking for a place, but a home. A place where he can get the time to build trust and people who are willing to walk this path with him. Junis kam Anfang des Jahres aus einer Futterstelle zu uns, mit einem großen Misstrauen gegenüber dem Menschen. In den ersten Wochen hielt er sich lieber im Hintergrund, wollte mit uns Zweibeinern nichts zu tun haben. Doch mit viel Geduld und liebevoller Konsequenz hat Junis kleine, aber bedeutende Schritte gemacht: In ruhigen Momenten lässt er sich inzwischen von ihm vertrauten Pflegern streicheln und genießt diese Nähe sogar ein wenig. Junis ist kein Kater für schnelle Fortschritte. Wer ihn adoptieren möchte, sollte viel Geduld, Einfühlungsvermögen und Erfahrung im Umgang mit ängstlichen Katzen mitbringen. Ein hektischer Haushalt oder Kinder wären für ihn zu stressig. Er braucht Menschen, die seine ruhige Art verstehen und ihn so annehmen, wie er ist. Er ist FIV-positiv, zeigt aber bisher keinerlei Symptome und darf daher mit gesichertem Freigang leben, zum Beispiel in einem abgesicherten Garten oder einem geschützten Innenhof, in dem er die Sonne genießen und die Welt beobachten kann. Junis sucht keinen Platz, sondern ein Zuhause. Einen Ort, an dem er Zeit bekommt, um Vertrauen zu fassen, und Menschen, die bereit sind, diesen Weg mit ihm gemeinsam zu gehen.
