Juri

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 4 months

Description: Our animal welfare advocates report: Juri has already experienced terrible things—he comes from the euthanasia shelter in Breasta and was rescued just in time on May 10, 2026; otherwise, his short life would have come to an end. Now he’s waiting eagerly to finally experience the joys of a dog’s life.Juri is a friendly and loving male dog who approaches people openly and thoroughly enjoys every bit of kindness. Every bit of attention and every gentle stroke is met with enthusiastic paws—yet he can also sit quietly and listen attentively when you talk to him. He’s stunningly handsome; despite being three years old, he looks like a puppy, and you simply can’t help but fall in love with him. He has longer fur that gives him a rugged appearance, and his amber-colored eyes are simply irresistible. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, showing friendliness and playfulness toward them as well. Juri loves going for walks and adores nature—he’s truly a wonderful companion.Juri longs for people who will give him love, security, and a real home. He has so much joy and love to offer, and he deserves the chance for a happy dog life.Who will open their heart to this amazing boy? ❤️ Please note: The feedback from animal shelters reflects the current behavior of the animals here.

About Juri

What life with Juri looks like

Juri is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Tierischgeholfen e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Juri, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Juri?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierischgeholfen e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Juri on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Juri if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierischgeholfen e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Juri already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Juri isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierischgeholfen e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Juri and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
