Kafe

Male · Puppy · 9 months

Kafe Rasse: Vizsla Alter: born 17.11.2025 Size: approx. 60 cm Weight: approx. 20 kg Neutered: Too young Other dogs? Yes Children? Yes Cats? Must be tested. Mediterranean test? Negative! A current test will be done before departure. Location: Shelter (K) Kafe - special young dog is looking for his forever home❤️ Kafe currently lives in a shelter and is waiting there for people who will finally give him the life he deserves. Kafe was acquired by a family that treated him poorly. His eye problems are probably from this time. It is suspected that his visual impairment was caused by welding work in his immediate vicinity. Finally, Kafe was rescued by a man who brought him to the shelter. Despite everything he has experienced, Kafe has not lost his friendly and cheerful nature. He is a lively young dog who loves people and enjoys every attention. According to the veterinarian and the caregivers, Kafe is probably not completely blind. He can probably perceive shadows and distinguish between light and dark. In everyday life, Kafe shows himself as a typical young dog: playful, curious, full of energy and always ready for a fun time. At the same time, he is extremely clever and learns quickly. His intelligence and charm make him a dog who wants to be encouraged and who can easily wrap his humans around his paw. That's why we wish for Kafe experienced people who will accompany him lovingly, patiently and consistently. People who do not see his limitation, but the wonderful young dog behind it. Kafe Rasse: Vizsla Alter: geb. 17.11.2025 Größe: ca. 60 cm Gewicht: ca. 20 Kg Kastriert: Zu jung andere Hunde? Ja Kinder? Ja Katzen? Muss getestet werden. Mittelmeertest? Negativ!

About Kafe

What life with Kafe looks like

Kafe is a puppy/kitten dog waiting at Tierfreunde im Fläming e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kafe, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kafe?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierfreunde im Fläming e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kafe on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kafe if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierfreunde im Fläming e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kafe already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kafe isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierfreunde im Fläming e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kafe and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
