How do I contact the shelter about Kafetoylis (Καφετούλης)?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Dogs Voice handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kafetoylis (Καφετούλης) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt Kafetoylis (Καφετούλης) if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Dogs Voice will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is Kafetoylis (Καφετούλης) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if Kafetoylis (Καφετούλης) isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Dogs Voice early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kafetoylis (Καφετούλης) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

Kafetoylis (Καφετούλης)

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 3 years

A sweet and tall giant puppy born around September 2022 came to us injured by a car. A gentle, calm, affectionate, social and people-oriented giant with a heart of a lettuce that you can't stop hugging. Our Kafeutis gets along well with other dogs and doesn't get into fights. Although a dynamic presence, he doesn't claim the role of leader in a dog family. He is perfect on his walk with the leash and absolutely cooperative with the people. He is good-natured about his food, never says no to treats and croquettes, although he stays slender. The boy has a special playful walk with small jumps like a kid on his back legs, as he was hit by a car when he was a puppy and had surgery. Adopted by the Homeless Planet, Thessaloniki. If you are interested in adoption, send an SMS to 6970195672, write "I'm interested in Kafeutis" and we will call you soon, or send us a message on our page (All animals of the Homeless Planet are given for adoption as the law requires). An animal is not a toy. You must know that adopting an animal is a decision that changes your life. As an animal owner, you are legally required to ensure that all needs for its well-being are met. Otherwise, you commit an offense punishable by law.

About Kafetoylis (Καφετούλης)

What life with Kafetoylis (Καφετούλης) looks like

Kafetoylis (Καφετούλης) is a large adult mixed breed dog waiting at Dogs Voice in Athens.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇬🇷Adopting from Greece

Greek shelters often partner with Northern European rescue groups for placements. Animals are sterilized, vaccinated, and chipped before adoption. Fees vary widely depending on whether the shelter is municipal or NGO-run.
