Kál Kreola

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 7 years

Originally arrived: 2019.01.22 Moved to Szerény: 2019.09.05. The Kál family and their mother arrived on 2019.01.22 from the settlement of Kál. They lived in an uninhabited house, rather in the garden, under terrible conditions. After a request for help, they were taken into care. Unfortunately, Kreola has already gone through an unsuccessful adoption. The family was not prepared for the adaptation of a scared puppy. Therefore, she returned to our care. We are looking for a loving, responsible owner for her. Someone who is aware of the difficulties involved in raising a shy dog. Someone who is willing to spend enough time to adapt to the family's rhythm and will also help in this. We do not give her for garden keeping only. They long for a home where she can live as a full-fledged family member, whether it be sports, play, excursions or evening TV watching, where her daily activities are ensured and she can live in a secure home for the rest of her life. Vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, she can be adopted. Attention, the dog is located at the Szerény branch of the NOÉ Animal Shelter. You can inquire about her at our address! Figyelem a kutya a NOÉ Állatotthon szergényi telephelyén található. Érdeklődni róla a címünkön lehet!További képek ITT! About Kál Kreola

What life with Kál Kreola looks like

Kál Kreola is a small adult mixed breed dog waiting at Noé Állatotthon in Budapest.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Note from the shelter: Fearful dog requiring patient owner experienced with shy dogs

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kál Kreola, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kál Kreola?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Noé Állatotthon handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kál Kreola on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kál Kreola if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Noé Állatotthon will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kál Kreola already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kál Kreola isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Noé Állatotthon early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kál Kreola and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
