Kalap Keve

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 6 months

Kalap Keve was born in January 2026. He is a male puppy from the Kalap family - two boys and one girl - who came to our care without their mother, with the help of the Füzesabonyi Animal Protection Foundation. Keve's life did not start easily, as he had to fight parvo, but he overcame the disease like a true little hero. Today, he is a healthy, lively puppy ready to finally experience what it's like to grow up in a loving family. He is a real clown, an energetic and curious boy who learns quickly, observes people with interest, is kind to everyone, and loves cuddling. We are looking for a loving family where he can experience the joys of everyday life as a puppy, expend his huge energy, and where his owners devote time, patience, and love to raising him. A dog school could be an excellent joint program where he can develop playfully and grow into a balanced, confident adult dog. He is eligible for adoption as a full-fledged family member with the obligation of neutering and continuation of the vaccination program. Inquiries about him and appointment for a personal meeting are available at +36 30 221 1299 from Monday to Saturday between 10 am and 3 pm, or you can click on the Like button (Tetszik gomb).

About Kalap Keve

What life with Kalap Keve looks like

Kalap Keve is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Noé Állatotthon in Budapest.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kalap Keve, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kalap Keve?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Noé Állatotthon handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kalap Keve on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kalap Keve if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Noé Állatotthon will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kalap Keve already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kalap Keve isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Noé Állatotthon early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kalap Keve and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
