Our sparrow parakeet pair Karl and Kiri are looking for a loving new home. They came to our shelter because their previous owners could no longer care for them due to time constraints. We hope they will find people who can give them the attention and care they deserve. Karl and Kiri are inseparable and therefore only available as a pair. They can either move into a new home together or join a friendly sparrow parakeet flock that will warmly welcome them. Karl has a bald spot on his head, but unfortunately, we don't know the exact cause; however, an infectious disease was ruled out. His small blemish doesn't affect him in everyday life. Both are not tame, but they approach their environment with a calm and loving nature. They are wonderful birds for people who enjoy observing the natural behavior of their feathered companions and providing them with a suitable home. Who will give Karl and Kiri the chance to start anew together and find a loving home forever?

Unser Sperlingspapageien-Pärchen Karl und Kiri ist auf der Suche nach einem liebevollen neuen Zuhause. Die beiden kamen zu uns ins Tierheim, weil ihre bisherigen Halter ihnen aus zeitlichen Gründen nicht mehr gerecht werden konnten. Nun wünschen wir uns für sie Menschen, die ihnen wieder die Aufmerksamkeit und Fürsorge schenken können, die sie verdienen. Karl und Kiri sind unzertrennlich und werden daher ausschließlich gemeinsam vermittelt. Sie können entweder als Paar in ein neues Zuhause ziehen oder sich einem freundlichen Sperlingspapageienschwarm anschließen, der die beiden herzlich aufnimmt. Karl hat am Kopf eine gerupfte Stelle. Die genaue Ursache ist leider nicht bekannt, eine ansteckende Erkrankung konnte jedoch ausgeschlossen werden. Sein kleines Schönheitsmakel beeinträchtigt ihn im Alltag nicht. Beide sind nicht handzahm, begegnen ihrem Umfeld aber mit einer ruhigen und lieben Art.
