Adopt Karmin

Mixed Breed · Female

what a sad fate already after him... Found on the street on Christmas Day with a long chain that he dragged behind... The chain went into the trash, and we are looking for a dream home that he probably never had. Since then, a few months have passed. Karmin has improved. Small, rough, friendly, he already knows what walks and petting, which he really loves. At first shy and slightly scared, now he is the first at the gate waiting for the beloved person. We are already looking for a family where he will be truly loved. Help us - spread the word. Karmin is asking for it very much. Born around 2016. Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped. Gets along with female dog.

o co przykre już za Nim… Znaleziony na ulicy w Święta Bożego Narodzenia z długim łańcuchem , który ciągnął za sobą… Łańcuch trafił do kosza, a my szukamy wymarzonego, kochającego Domu, którego zapewne nigdy nie miał. Urodzony ok 2016 roku. Wykastrowany, zaszczepiony, zaczipowany. Dogaduje się z Suczkami. OLA 533 564 074 KASIA 507 237 447

About Karmin

What life with Karmin looks like

Karmin is a small adult mixed breed dog waiting at Schronisko Radom in Radom.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Karmin, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Karmin?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Radom handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Karmin on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Karmin if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Radom will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Karmin already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Karmin isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Radom early rather than rehoming privately; they know Karmin and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
