Kater Heinz sucht sein Zuhause fürs Leben 🐾

Bengal · Male · Young · 3 years

Our handsome Bengal cat Heinz was found - but unfortunately no one has looked for him and no one has picked him up. Now it's time for Heinz to find his own home where he can arrive and stay forever. Heinz is a typical Bengal: beautiful, intelligent, confident and with a lot of personality. He is very people-oriented and certainly seeks the company of his people. At the same time, he can also be a little - let's say - demanding. 😊 He knows exactly what he wants and shares it. Even though Heinz enjoys the company of people, he wants to decide for himself when he has had enough of closeness. Therefore, it is particularly important with him to read his body language and respect his boundaries. Whoever observes Heinz carefully and gives him the necessary freedom will get a very special cat by his side. Heinz generally gets along with other cats. He really doesn't need their company. If another cat gets too close, he will give a clear message. A home as a single prince would therefore be quite imaginable for him. Outdoor access is a must for Heinz. He loves our outdoor area and enjoys being outdoors and exploring his surroundings. His new people should therefore be able to provide him with a safe and suitable outdoor access. During his veterinary initial examination, it was found that Heinz has watery eyes. The tear ducts are passable on both sides, and the swab result also showed no indication of bacteria. The eyes will of course continue to be monitored. Heinz is looking for people who appreciate a self-confident, strong-willed and sometimes a bit stubborn cat - people who take his signals seriously, give him freedom and are not disturbed by his very own way. Whoever engages with a real Bengal with personality gets an extraordinary cat with Heinz who will certainly not bore his people. ❤️

Frequently asked

Adopting Kater Heinz sucht sein Zuhause fürs Leben 🐾, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kater Heinz sucht sein Zuhause fürs Leben 🐾?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Düsseldorf handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kater Heinz sucht sein Zuhause fürs Leben 🐾 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kater Heinz sucht sein Zuhause fürs Leben 🐾 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Düsseldorf will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kater Heinz sucht sein Zuhause fürs Leben 🐾 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kater Heinz sucht sein Zuhause fürs Leben 🐾 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Düsseldorf early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kater Heinz sucht sein Zuhause fürs Leben 🐾 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
