Our dear Ole is back in search of his Forever Home. Three years ago, he was already rehomed, but unfortunately, he had to return to us again because he showed increasing behavioral issues as he became more suitable for apartment living without a leash. Therefore, we now wish for him a home where he can have the freedom to go outside. Ole is an absolute sweetheart! Here at the animal shelter, he shows incredible clinginess, cuddliness, and people-oriented behavior. He enjoys every pat and actively seeks the closeness of his trusted people. However, Ole also comes with a small "package": he is currently quite overweight and should definitely lose a few kilos in his new home – for his health. With the right diet and some exercise, this can be easily managed. Additionally, a heart murmur was detected in Ole. He currently does not require medication, but a preventive annual echocardiogram should be performed to keep everything in check. With other cats, Ole unfortunately had no good experiences, so we wish for him a home as a single prince where he can enjoy undivided attention. With dogs, however, he seems to get along well – he has even accepted a small dog here with complete relaxation. Who will give this cuddly heart-kitten a second chance?

Unser lieber Ole ist zurück auf der Suche nach seinem Für-immer-Zuhause. Vor drei Jahren wurde er bereits vermittelt, doch leider musste er wieder zu uns zurückkehren, da er in reiner Wohnungshaltung ohne Freigang zunehmend Verhaltensauffälligkeiten zeigte. Deshalb wünschen wir uns für ihn nun ein Zuhause, in dem er die Möglichkeit zum Freigang bekommt. Ole ist ein absoluter Schatz! Hier im Tierheim zeigt er sich unglaublich anhänglich, verschmust und menschenbezogen. Er genießt jede Streicheleinheit und sucht aktiv die Nähe seiner Bezugspersonen. Ole bringt allerdings auch ein kleines „Päckchen“ mit: Er ist derzeit deutlich zu kräftig und sollte in seinem neuen Zuhause unbedingt ein paar Kilos verlieren – seiner Gesundheit zuliebe. Mit der richtigen Ernährung und etwas Bewegung lässt sich das aber gut in den Griff bekommen. Außerdem wurde bei Ole ein Herzgeräusch festgestellt. Aktuell benötigt er keine Medikamente, jedoch sollte vorsorglich einmal jährlich ein Herzultraschall durchgeführt werden, um alles im Blick zu behalten. Mit anderen Katzen hatte Ole leider keine guten Erfahrungen, daher wünschen wir uns für ihn ein Zuhause als Einzelprinz, in dem er die ungeteilte Aufmerksamkeit genießen darf. Mit Hunden scheint er hingegen gut zurechtzukommen – einen kleinen Hund hat er hier völlig entspannt akzeptiert. Wer schenkt diesem verschmusten Herzenskater eine zweite Chance? 💛
