Everyone values his company - whether he is lying in the doorway soaking up the sun or lazily following life from the bar counter. For regulars, Simba has become a bit of a trademark and a dear friend who always brings smiles and warmth to the place. Although Simba's owner lives some distance away, the female can be safe knowing the whole town takes good care of him. Simba is used to going his own way - and in Ringe, the male has clearly found his favorite spot. With the birthday fundraiser, Simba showed that his charm goes beyond just spreading joy in daily life. The male has managed to collect over 9,000 kroner, which now goes towards the construction of the new animal shelter in Ringe. Here, homeless cats will have the chance for a safe new start in life. In other words, Simba is not just a cat - but also a little local hero who with his popularity makes a difference for other cats in need. Selvom Simbas ejer bor et stykke væk, kan hun være tryg ved, at hele byen passer godt på ham. Simba er nemlig vant til at gå sine egne veje – og i Ringe har han tydeligvis fundet sin yndlingsplads.
