Katze Inga sucht ein Zuhause

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten · 3 months

Inga, female, born approximately 20.06.2026, at the shelter since 01.08.2026. Paten gesucht. Inga has been with us for 65 days. She is a cat. Inga was caught with her brother Ingo in a spay/neuter operation. Their mother was able to return to her familiar place after the operation. However, there was no way to care for the two kittens. Therefore, Inga and Ingo were allowed to go to a loving foster family. There, they have developed wonderfully in the past weeks and quickly learned that people mean well to them. Inga is now a brave young female cat, curious and open to her surroundings. She bonds closely with her humans. She enjoys petting very much and also likes to cuddle up to sleep. She sometimes shows her affection in a special way, then she likes to nibble lovingly at her favorite people, of course without wanting to hurt them. Inga also likes children very much. She is already used to living with them and is happy about people who deal with her and give her a lot of attention. Now Inga is ready for her own home. She is a cheerful, people-oriented young cat who is likely to become a family member quickly with her open and loving nature. If you are interested in Inga, we look forward to your inquiry. Further cats looking for a home: Inga, a brave, open young female cat. She explores her surroundings curiously, bonds closely with her humans, and loves petting and cuddling. She also likes children very much. A cheerful little cuddly cat who is now looking for her own home. Ingo, a young male cat. He is initially cautious and observes new situations from a safe distance. Once he has gained trust, he enjoys petting. A social companion gives him security. With patience and understanding, he will develop into a great companion. Mochi, a cat looking for a home. Our super cute Mochi wants the best home in the world, with a lot of love and attention, maybe a nice, social cat partner by his side. But above all, with people who help him regain his ideal weight so he can live long and healthy. Püschel, a cat looking for a home. Our shy little Puschel cat is very sweet, but we don't know what happened to him that he is so afraid, although he was previously kept as a pure indoor cat. We are looking for very empathetic, patient people for him who give him time to settle in. Frau Friedel, a cat looking for a home. Our sweet Frau Friedel is very loving and open. She lived as an indoor cat in a multi-cat household. But she could also be very happy as a single cat with a family with a lot of time for her. Doris, a cat looking for a home. The lovely cat Doris was found in a garden in Kamenz. She was probably abandoned. Now we are looking for a new home for her, ideally with the possibility of outdoor access after the acclimation period. Hope and Holly, cats looking for a home. The little girl cats Hope and Holly were brought to our care shortly after each other. At their foster family, the two got to know and love each other and do not want to be separated anymore. They are now looking for a new home together, ideally with the possibility of outdoor access - away from busy streets. Haribo and Snickers, cats looking for a home. The two cuddly cats Haribo and Snickers are looking for a home together in a purely indoor setting. Floki, a cat looking for a home. ~Has interested~ A small black whirlwind is looking for people with patience and empathy. He is not a cuddly cat yet, but he can become one. Finchen, a cat looking for a home. ~Has interested~ After Finchen's children are now old enough, it's time for the sensitive mother cat to find a new home. A patient family with a house and property away from busy streets would be ideal for our Finchen.

About Katze Inga sucht ein Zuhause

What life with Katze Inga sucht ein Zuhause looks like

Katze Inga sucht ein Zuhause is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at 4animals! e.V. Hundeauffangstation HASt in Essen.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Katze Inga sucht ein Zuhause, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Katze Inga sucht ein Zuhause?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. 4animals! e.V. Hundeauffangstation HASt handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Katze Inga sucht ein Zuhause on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Katze Inga sucht ein Zuhause if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — 4animals! e.V. Hundeauffangstation HASt will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Katze Inga sucht ein Zuhause already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Katze Inga sucht ein Zuhause isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with 4animals! e.V. Hundeauffangstation HASt early rather than rehoming privately; they know Katze Inga sucht ein Zuhause and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
