KAWA is a beautiful female dog of the American Staffordshire Terrier type, with a distinctive coffee-colored coat. She arrived at the shelter relatively recently, but spending time in a kennel clearly doesn't suit her well. She’s a strong, energetic girl who desperately needs plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and a human companion with whom she can feel safe. On walks, she’s very lively and full of energy. She can walk nicely on a leash, but when something catches her attention or she senses an interesting scent, her natural strength comes to the fore—so her future guardian should be consistent and have a bit of strength in their hands. KAWA knows basic commands such as “sit” and “shake,” and she can calm down beautifully when given these cues. Learning new things comes easily to her. Due to her temperament, it can sometimes be challenging for her to stay focused, but she’s intelligent and eager to cooperate with her human companion. With the right guidance, she’ll certainly make great progress. In her interactions with people, she needs time to adjust. At first, she tends to keep her distance and avoids close contact, but once she trusts someone, she gives them her whole heart. She’s incredibly loyal and forms deep bonds with her human. We’re looking for a home that’s fully aware of the needs of dogs of the American Staffordshire Terrier type. At this time, KAWA doesn’t get along well with other dogs. She also has more difficulty interacting with men. It’s possible that in the past she experienced mistreatment, which is why she reacts with intense fear and defensive behavior toward certain individuals. She requires a patient guardian who respects her boundaries, dedicates time to her, helps her find peace, and shows her that humans can be a source of support—not a threat. In return, she’ll gain a faithful, devoted friend who, with the right person by her side, has the chance to truly blossom and finally experience what a real home feels like.

KAWA to piękna suczka w typie amstaffa o wyjątkowym, kawowym umaszczeniu. Do schroniska trafiła stosunkowo niedawno, jednak pobyt w boksie zdecydowanie jej nie służy. To silna, pełna energii dziewczyna, która najbardziej potrzebuje ruchu, zajęcia i człowieka, przy którym będzie mogła poczuć się bezpiecznie. Na spacerach jest bardzo żywiołowa. Potrafi ładnie iść na smyczy, jednak gdy coś ją zainteresuje lub wyczuje, daje o sobie znać jej siła,dlatego przyszły opiekun powinien być osobą konsekwentną i mieć trochę siły w rękach. KAWA zna podstawowe komendy takie jak „siad” czy „podaj łapę” przy których bardzo ładnie potrafi się wyciszyć. Nauka nowych rzeczy przychodzi jej z łatwością. Ze względu na swój temperament czasami trudno jej się skupić, ale jest inteligentna i chętnie współpracuje z człowiekiem. Przy odpowiednim prowadzeniu z pewnością zrobi duże postępy. W relacji z ludźmi potrzebuje czasu. Na początku bywa zdystansowana i unika bliższego kontaktu, jednak kiedy zaufa, oddaje człowiekowi całe swoje serce. Jest niezwykle lojalna i mocno przywiązuje się do swojej osoby. Szukamy dla niej domu świadomego potrzeb psów w typie amstaffa. KAWA nie akceptuje na tą chwilę innych psów Trudniejsze relacje ma również z mężczyznami. Możliwe, że w przeszłości doświadczyła złego traktowania, dlatego wobec niektórych reaguje bardzo silnym lękiem i obroną. Wymaga cierpliwego opiekuna, który uszanuje jej granice, poświęci czas i pomoże odnaleźć spokój oraz pokaże, że człowiek może być dla niej wsparciem, a nie zagrożeniem. W zamian zyska wierną, oddaną przyjaciółkę, która przy odpowiednim człowieku ma szansę rozkwitnąć i w końcu poczuć, czym jest prawdziwy dom.
