Kermit & Miss Piggy

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 1 year

by Wildlife | Jun 15, 2026 | Female, Guinea Pig, Liverpool, Male, Female, Guinea pigs, Liverpool, Male Meet the most adorable duo… Kermit and Miss Piggy! They are an adorable couple of male and female guineas. Kermit is around 1 year old while Miss Piggy is around 3 years old. This gorgeous couple would need a home together. They are absolutely obsessed with each other and will soon have you wrapped around their little paws! They are both curious little guineas. Kermit especially frequently gets the zoomies. They both deserve a wonderful, loving home to call their own. If you’re looking for an amazing duo, this couple may be your perfect match. If you are interested in giving them a forever home, please get in touch at with photos of your guinea pig set up. We ask that all hutches be permanently attached to a run measuring at least 4ft by 6ft. If the bottom is on grass, it must be meshed, but if it is on concrete or a hard surface, that is fine. If you are considering them as house guineas, all wiring will need to be safely hidden away from nibbling teeth, and an exercise area must be accessible at all times. Exclusive merchandise available direct from the rescue. Don't miss out, follow the link to make your purchase today.

About Kermit & Miss Piggy

What life with Kermit & Miss Piggy looks like

Kermit & Miss Piggy is a young adult mixed breed animal waiting at Freshfields Animal Rescue in Liverpool.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows Kermit & Miss Piggy far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kermit & Miss Piggy, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kermit & Miss Piggy?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Freshfields Animal Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kermit & Miss Piggy on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kermit & Miss Piggy if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Freshfields Animal Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kermit & Miss Piggy already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most animals on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kermit & Miss Piggy isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Freshfields Animal Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kermit & Miss Piggy and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
