Adopt KIN

Male · Young · 1 year

Description KIN is a beautiful gray tabby cat, with green eyes that melt, and a big heart that only wants a place where he is finally loved as he deserves. He was born in a feral cat colony, but he was always different: he sought out humans, sought affection and for some reason, his feline companions did not accept him. They often attacked him, until one day he appeared with a wound on his forehead. He was rescued, treated and since then, has only shown what we already suspected: he is a sweet little kitten, nicer than bread. In his foster care home, he has adapted in record time. He loves cuddles, plays happily, purrs grateful and looks with those big green eyes as if saying without words: "Can I stay with you forever?" KIN needs a family urgently. A permanent family, one that will take care of him, love him and give him the stability he has never had. If you can offer him a home, he will thank you for life.

About KIN

What life with KIN looks like

KIN is a young adult cat waiting at Sálvanos Protectora in Spain.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting KIN, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about KIN?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Sálvanos Protectora handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw KIN on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt KIN if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Sálvanos Protectora will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is KIN already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if KIN isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Sálvanos Protectora early rather than rehoming privately; they know KIN and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
